Introduction:
This article explains how to find to pin your favourite apps to the task bar.
Prerequisites:
Before we begin you will need;
- Nothing
Technical Level:
Low
Having apps along the bottom of the screen can help you open the programs quickly, without trying to find them in your Start Menu.
There are several ways of doing this, here some of the simplest ways..
Method 1 – From running the App
Run the application you wish to pin to the taskbar.
While it is visible in the taskbar Right-Click and select Pin to taskbar.
Example…
Your app will now remain in your Taskbar.
Method 2 – From the Start Menu
Click on the Windows Start button and find your app in the list.
Right click on the app you wish to pin (this example Outlook).
Click on More then Pin to Taskbar.
You should now see your app in your Taskbar.
Method 3 – From the Search
Type the name of your app in the search box (in this example Outlook),
Right click on the app and click Pin to taskbar.
You should now see your app in your Taskbar.
